Before and After House PicsOn the front exterior, I replaced the columns, removed the decorative scallop trim, removed the overgrown bushes, replaced all the gutters, windows and doors, and painted. In the kitchen, I removed the wallpaper, painted the cabinets, replaced cabinet hardware, replaced all the appliances, widened the doorway to the dining room, and put in new sub-floor and floor. In the master bedroom, I enlarged one of the windows, removed the wallpaper and repaired the drywall, enlarged the doorway to the bathroom, and replaced the closet doors. I completely gutted both bathrooms. By moving a wall, I reduced the size of the dining room and incorporated the extra space into the bathrooms. In the family room, I removed the drop ceiling, replaced the sub-floor and floor, painted the panelling, and replaced the windows and door. In the foyer I removed the half-wall by the door, replaced the sub-floor and floor, and replaced the front door and closet doors. In the yard I removed 10 dead trees that were completely covered in poison ivy and put in a 12' by 12' garden. Click on any image to see it enlarged.
